I was thinking of binge watching abdullahpur ka devdas and quite surprised at the views. It has 11M views which is pretty high for a webseries. Unlike dramas that air on tv and later on yt, only people who are on social media and follows bilal will be aware of this one. All the episodes have more views than most green channel dramas.

On a serious note, the set design, bgm, casting and actors in this small web series were worth a watch. I love both O Sahib and biba

Zindagi's subscribers jumped from 45k to 4L+ after AKD episodes started getting uploaded.

I doubt apart from Akhara Green Tv shows have views on par with AKD. Even the recently launched teasers of Gentleman aren't getting much attention on youtube.

I saw that clip. It was everywhere on my insta and Twitter . Wet saint had everyone drooling over him.

Zee5 usually have better camera work and set design than other pak dramas. Ejls had such realistic feel to it and all the characters looked and felt so real. The director of EJLS, mehreen jabbar said they give more creative freedom and better technical team. Maybe that's why pak creaters keep working with Zee even if it takes ages for the project to be released.

It would have been an even bigger hit if this project had a proper promotional schedule / bts releases
