Salman Khan movies does 100 crores but not all his movies are good, same with SRK...his zero did horribly at box office...so no star can guarantee business or great script.

Many times small budget movies cover the investment so producers make money for example Aamir movie was made in very low budget but it made business more than investment so producers made money
