Another worthless episode Don’t geel like watching the show anymore. Meena and Raji are insulted by Mayil’s mother in yesterday’s episode, the idiot, hypocrite could mot even defend hos DILs. But then he himself insults hos own dons and FILs so he doesn’t care if others do. Today’s last scene was pathetic. I felt bad for Meena and Senthil.

Looks like Mayil and mother are going to takeover the family, both Pandian and Saravanan will be at their beck and call. What a shame! Both the ladies knlw Gonathi is useless, has no say and the other 2 DILs are educated and dignified, won’t stoop to their level.

There is absolutely no progression in KR relationship, they are not even fighting anymore. This says how much writers are smitten by Sharanya’s entry that there is a danger of even Meena being sidelined. If they cannot show any progression, they should let Raji ho back to her house, her family will take great care of her and she doesn’t have to listen to everyone’s insults.

I hope when the truth comes Pandian regrets and dies for ruining his son’s life and the family reputation. The guy thinks too highly of himself. Can’t wait to see him being humiliated and disrespected by Mayil and her parents. He deserves completely.

The show is becoming unrealistic and pathetic while they are showing that Cheaters will win.

About Saravanan - guy is an idiot. He is acting as if he never talked to a girl before. Pandian is also talking as of Saravanan never talked to a girl before, so he is feeling shy. So what was the love affair Saravanan had with the girl on whom he wrote those stupid poems. Both Father and son are shameless. Gomathi is looking at all this nonsense, all she can do is show her teeth and patronize her husband claim how great he is. These dimwits need to be taught a lesson.

Indeed a horrible episode as you both said. Today's episode was no better.

I read a few comments about how Mayil is like Mullai, her mother is like Parvathy, and how great Mayil's role is. Saranya being welcomed into PS is more for her friendship with Chitra than her acting. Her last 2 serials ended abruptly, with one telecasted for only 37 episodes.

There is too much PR and talk about her entering this serial as the main heroine. Yaaru, Saravana is main hero, vah? Which Saravana, the one who could not even frame a proper sentence while talking over the phone, and had to wait for his father to permit him to talk?

I wonder how Hema's fans feel about this considering they think Meena is the main heroine.

I find the actress very mediocre. Don’t understand this PR hype. Hema and Shalini are better actors than her. Mayil is not anywhere close to Mullai and Parvathi is not Bhagyam. Parvathi never lied, all she wanted was that Mullai get the same rights as Dhanam and she wanted Murthy-Dhanam not to interfere much in other couples lives but she was not vicious like Bhagyam,

I can already feel Shalini getting the short end of the stick as she doesn’t have enough fans like Hema or Sharanya. Also Raji is mot given a strong character. Even in today’s episode when Meena asked Raji her opinion on Mayil’s family, she only had good things to say about them. Raji is a character who is naive and sometimes takes stupid decisions and learnt a very bad lesson from Kannan and his cheating Saga. That doesn’t mean they can show Raji being gullible again. While they immediately showed Kathir agreeing to what Meena said implying that Kathir has more respect and listens to Meena and his mother more than Raji, With Raji, Kathir thinks that she is a brainless bimbo and keeps scolding for everything she does.

Hema’s fans are not going to be happy when they cut Meena’s scenes and they are already complaining that she doesn’t have enough romantic scenes with Senthil.

Anyway, with this season writers have stooped low with some of the characters.

About Shalini, yes, I did note that too. She does all her interviews with her husband. Probably to promote and bring him in light as well. That reality show these PS2 actors participated in, even there she mentioned about her real husband sitting in the audience. I guess he accompanies her everywhere.

Well, just hope these offscreen stuffs does not spill onto onscreen as well, especially when enacting romance or love scenes and all. Viewers will also definitely expect offscreen pics and interviews of Akash-Shalini going ahead. As an actor, hope she is more flexible and open-minded about these things.

@bold - I think they are just colleagues who might not be interested in clicking pictures or doing interviews together. I occasionally check their Instagram accounts both very rarely share KR edits by fans. Infact Shalini is not even very active except when she wants to pose a dance reel. Akash mostly shares his pictures, his edits by fans, I feel it is going to be the same as how it was with Kumaran-Chitra. They only came together once or twice for Vijay TV reality shows otherwise have not seen them much together in offscreen.

It is only surviving because its prime time else if its shifted to afternoon slot, the show would have shut by now, SA, Baakiyalakshmi, PS-2, Aha Kalyanam, Mahanadhi, Chinna Marumagal, Nee Naan Kadhal are prime time shows of Vijay TV which are facing heavy competition from Sun TV shows during the same time slot. 6 Sun TV shows are ahead of the top 4 Vijay shows- SA, Baakiyalakshmi, PS-2, Aha Kalyanam. Then imagine how high Sun TV shows TRPs must be,

In a nut shell PS-2 TRPs are mediocre much lower than what PS-1 got throughout its run.

Kumaran Chitra atleast had 1 interview together. I never watched it fully, but I think it was during the initial phase of KM when they started gaining popularity? I don't know what happened after that.

Me too wouldn't expect much from Akash-Shalini offscreen. But I atleast want to see their look test pics! Is that too much to ask?! After quite a long time, I liked watching an onscreen pairing who are very smooth on the eyes. As long as they are able to deliver the required romance onscreen and not develop some sort of cold feet on the same, it is all good to go.

Today’s episode was bearable only because Pandian was there for 30 Seconds Infact he shouldn’t even be there even for those 30 seconds. He is THE MOST ANNOYING character of this show, worse than Mayil and her family

I like Meena-Raji scenes and their bonding is shown very well. Their conversation outside the house, later in the kitchen were good to watch.

Senthil and Raji are similar in characteristics while Meena and Kathir think alike no wonder opposites attract

Senthil is paired up with Meena and Kathir with Raji.

So the writers will got at a jet speed to show the love between Saravanan and Thangamayil and make them fall in love ASAP but won’t bother showing even one conversation between KR in a week. I am sick and tired of their 10 second eyelocks🙄🙄

I also loved Meena-Raji trolling Gomathi. Hope the “Mootha Marumagal” that Gomathi is already so fond of will put her in her place Meena is taking asdurance that Gomathi will treat all 3 DILs equally but knowing Dimwit Gomathi, she will do what Pandian says. In that case Meena and Raji has to blurt the truth as to how Kathir-Raji got married only because Gomathi forced both of them to save her brothers honor ( Muthuvel and Sakthivel). This is enough for Pandian to go against Gomathi and banish her from the house I am waiting for that day.

Terrace scene between the brothers and mama was ok not as enjoyable as Meena and Raji. Saravanan is going overboard with his silliness, I expected him handle this whole thing in a more matured manner but he is acting as like a teenage love sick puppy 🤮

I skipped Thangamayil and her family scene as soon as ot started towards the end of the episode. They are not worth my time

As for Saravanan, saying it again, he is acting as of he is falling in love for the 1st time. Pandian mentioned yesterday that he has never talked to a gitl before and today Senthil said the same thing. Who is witting such idiotic dialogues with no continuity. The writers completely forgot that they showed a love track briefly for Saravanan at the beginning of the show? Its not like the show has completed 1000 episodes for the writers to forget what they wrote. Their motto is just keep writing incoherent crap as the audience are dumb enough to remember things happened few episodes ago. They are underestimating the audience memory. Its as if the writers have wiped out Saravanan’s past love life🙄🙄🙄

I didn’t follow offscreen equation in Season 1 as I was not part of any Social Media except Youtube. I did not see Kumaran and Chitra’s interview and not sure what happened after that. Anyway Kumaran and Chitra were paired up for little more than 2 years until Chitra’s death and the 3 years of the show after that, we all know that Kavya and Lavanya both played Mullai.

Like I said in my previous post, in this season getting KR scenes have become rarity. It’s as if writers are hell bent on not showing their progress, instead started to show Saravanan as a love sick puppy that just in 2 days after meeting Thangamayil,

I am not asking Kathir or Raji to fall in love ASAP, atleast one conversation on what their future will be like, will they ever get together or both want to get out of this sham of a marriage. Its as if he is going about his routine and enjoying his time with his brothers while she loves spending time with Meena. If that’s the case why did the writers get them married in the first place. Whatever little promos or scenes of these are garnering the most views in Youtube, yet the writers and production house is busy promoting Sharanya AKA Thangamayil and her pairing with Saravanan.

That said, if at all KR get together eventually I don’t expect any romantic scenes between them. The writers will give such scenes to Saravanan-Thangamayil to justify Pandian’s stance that arranged marriage is the best, since he got involved in their alliance, they are happy together🙄 If that’s the case I want KR marriage truth to be out, so Gomathi can pay the price and Pandian can hang his head in shame for ill treating Kathir and Raji. But then we all know Pandian is anyway shameless
