I think Aniruddh loves comfort. He is trying to help Jhanak as per his convenience. There are so many points many of us can make that can show that there is lack of deliberate effort from Ani's side. The deliberate effort only manifested when Ani went to worship in the recent episodes. A few of the points that I will make are like why doesn't he offer Jhanak a way out by expressing a possible arrangement of her living in a secret hostel or tell Choton to explain her the truths and their perspectives for Jhanak to make a wise choice. And why the hell he talks to her as if she is a effing grown up mature woman. I haven't watched the current episode though and after reading quick update, I am not planning to either. I would rather miss a few of the episodes

She repeats her statement about him to focus on Arshi because of her suspicions and intuitions. Ani is not giving her any evidence to think otherwise
