I know everyone has probably watched drishyam but people pls do watch it in Malayalam if you can - both Drishyam 1 and 2!

Mohanlal in these 2 movies, goosebumps only!

Manichithrathaazhu (the original for bhool bhulayya/chandamukhi)

Maya/lolo - do you guys remember the movie's name which was remade in Tamil with dhanush as seedan?

There is 1 more in Malayalam which was brilliant - Classmates I think, remade in Tamil with Prithviraj as Ninaithale Inikkum.

seedan is remake of Nandanam Prithvi's debut ..

Sairat ,most of you might have watched the marathi original of Dhadak.

If you have watched Dhadak you should definitely watch this one .

Em Magaan is a good one - family oriented drama

Thavamai thavamirundhu- Cheran film, sad but good family values

Mozhi- Prithviraj and Jyothika film where Jyothika plays a mute and deaf person. Very good one.

Rhythm- Arjun and Meena film, about second chances in marriage. My fav of all time

Alaipayuthey is good- Tamil version of Saathiya/ much better too. Maddy is the OG choclate boy

Dum Dum Dum- Romcom with Maddy and Jyothika, they make plans to prevent their marriage and end up falling in love. Also my fav

Ullam Ketkume- College romance film about a group of 5 friends

Kanda Naal Muthal- Prasanna and Laila. Enemies to lovers trope.

Thenali, Panchathanthiram, Pammal K sammantham - kamal Hassan classics

Avvai shanmugi- Tamil version of chachi 420

Anbe Sivam- Another kamal cult classic, very sad but good humanitarian movie.
