I did like the chemistry between SRK and Manisha.

I didn't hate the movie but was underwhelmed.

I was expecting a movie like Swades or Paheli but Dil Se did not live up to my expectations.

It’s become memorable because of its music. Take that out and it would’ve been another Raamjaane types with overdosage of overacting from both the leads. Priety made an impression though, and that song helped her etch into the people’s memories forever. ARR is the main hero of the movie.

And thank you for pointing it out about how he recklessly put his innocent family at risk. Now they will deal with being a terrorist family forever. That was the first thing that hit me when I watched the movie.

Yes it really bugged me that - he cared more for an almost stranger girl than his immediate family. Also, as I said there was no epilogue suggesting that the other terrorists were caught.

Without the amazing music the movie really is average.

Lord only knows how the director tried to justify SRK’s character being obsessed with Manisha at first sight. At first, second, third and every sight, I simply saw a woman with a red nose, sinus issues, and suffering from a chronic flu. My nose is itchy just thinking about it.
