SOLID OPENING OF 9.5CR!!

Crew has a sprung a surprise at the box office as far as the opening day is concerned as it collects in the 9-9.50 crore nett range which is a solid number even if you allow for the Good Friday holiday. The film has scored very well in metros and is fantastic in the Delhi NCR belt while even the mass circuits have respectable numbers be it Rajasthan or CI.

The film will be one of the highest female led opening days at the box office and certain to be among the top three though Crew is holiday driven if we compare with the other films that are up there but many of the top female led openings are pre pandemic and its a different landscape today. actually its films like this which make it look like the landscape has not changed much as even on fair value its a 7 crore nett opening and that itself would be among the top ten female led openings

Crew will have to maintain over the weekend as not only its a holiday start but also the costs of the film are pretty high for a film of its sort. The film has taken a superb opening in Overseas as well with the first numbers being around $170k from Australia. The film will get a huge boost overseas due to the Easter weekend and Kareena Kapoor is a box office star there bigger than many of the leading male stars..

We have more than enough Screens, this isn't clash.

Itni Screens ke 80-90% opening ke bawjood we have capacity to earn more than 70 cr.on 1st day.

It is the biggest release in India & Overseas for this studio, heroines.

I said maximum capacity for any film we have is that, not for any female centric.

Veere had generated more hype than Crew, so it opened that big in last decade. Crew should have atleast crossed 15 cr minimum. Don't keep saying female centric thing, this couldn't be put in any context as our Audience has evolved over the years. They need entertainment, from any kind of film.
