I will be happy if fl has feelings for men who respect her and did the duties of a dad selflessly instead of the biological dad who refused to allow her in her legal home. Did not even think of giving a blank cheque for her future.

If you have the option to co parent with a great man; better take it. Single parenting is not easy. When the dad abandons the mother and kid, she can and should take any help she gets from other people.

This whole why not be a single parent thing? Her wish. Why should she do all work alone if she has help from a wonderful selfless man.
