Word about the Kapil show wala performance....just loved it.....he talked about it in the IV also that Kapil actually accommodated his request to bring in the whole band for the performance warna most places don't agree when he asks for his whole band to come along....they only want him to show up and sing by himself and he refuses....lol....matlab this era of singers never half-ass anything....full soul daal ke perform karte hain that is why their songs have lived on so long. He was talking about how he recently came across 18 year olds singing along to Maeri and they weren't even born when the song released 23 years back....lol that is the power of good music....it is not time bound.

Yeah am watching it and loving it the honesty is so refreshing and nice to hear and again comes from a secure place.. most of the things are pretty similar to what atif has said about all the mess that is mafia except he is more in detailed atif also has the disadvantage in a way being a Pakistani so he can only say so much and corporates and labels ka haal is same on both sides .. but I am a little confused the stats say this was uploaded only 15 hrs ago while atof ka IV and him mentioning yeh palaash standing up for him about 2 years ago.. anyway I guess the stand and thoughts are the same so it doesn't matter. Hahaha that 15 mins thing again atif was also like 15 mins kya hai even if 1 song it is a performance and am not doing it for free why should we sing even that for free while you gather an audience on our names and our presence if we are endorsing your product we should get the benefit you Caz you are using us to market it..

I really like how Calabash also mentioned ke who even knows Caz sirf dekh rahe hain sun Kaun raha hainyeh so called trending music and again the algorithm makes it a hit for you you really can't measure the success like that..and how it used to have so much effort into just making one song while ab toh instant ban jaata hai sab..sabki fingertips pe hi..my fav is his do log milke paagal banate hain neta and abhineta t shirt quote material hai. Hahahah at his laugh at the mention of pony kakkar hahahaha and best kakkar wala bit

Also posting these here Caz superb songs esp GO since atif mentioned these 2 specifically as in him just trying to bring limeght to these new artists and to reinvent himself and keep himself relevant and also to bring something new to the music scene. Rap does have a following in India on the street base but pakistan.main toh utna bhi nahi hai after GB hi some significance and importance milna start hua hai but on main stage toh humare haan bhi bas ek type.of music hi is popular and baaki sab forms are dying

LOL yes that neta aur abhineta waali line was mast....you can tell how intelligent, witty and observant he is....kaafi saari deep baatein bol gaya in this IV with a simple smile on his face....blunt facts state kiye without any real bitterness even towards the people who choose the materialistic path to success. LOL his disdain for Tony Kakkar came through but then he clarified later that main thing is that these guys are too focused on the technical tweaking of their songs than actually allowing their singing talent to come through. The way he explained how so many talented people randomly disappear or fade away cuz they stood up for themselves at some point....Amaal Malik ka example de raha tha and it's so true.

Another duo that is victim of this I feel is Salim Suleiman....they also sort of disappeared from the film music scene probably cuz they didn't agree to conditions that didn't respect their work. Because they were just soooo good...itne saare iconic songs create kiye hain and now look where they are? Nowhere....people don't sign them on for anything....woh bas apni concerts karte hain....lol

And yes that bit was also so on point from Palash ki log ab gaane DEKHTE hain, SUNTE nahin....that there are two different Indias...lol and one India only wants to WATCH music rather than hearing it....lol....yeh generational gap aa hi gaya hai thanks to technology/social media moving so fast. And lol I loved how with a light smile he explained ki 20,000 mein itne bots aa jaayenge to add this many likes/comments on whatever you want.....lol

The incident about standing up for Atif was quite a while back....bas uska reference abhi is IV mein phir se raise kiya IV-er ne toh Palash talked about it again.

Another bit I found quite sad was when he mentioned that nowadays not just actors but even singers are given work on the basis of how many social media followers they have.......lol matlab imagine, talent is not even a factor in selection....they are selecting on the basis of something that can be BOUGHT for 20,000 Rupees online.....lol people marketing themselves as having reach of so many followers toh unko select kar lo even if they don't have the talent.

Sonu Nigam ke followers look up kiye woh Sid ne and it was around 2.4M.....clearly this is way less than all these Kakkar etc. gang types....lol toh phir kaun hi dega Sonu ko bhi kaam, imagine....lol the guy with the ultimate talent won't get work cuz his "followers" aren't that many? ....if he also plays the game and buys enough followers to have the right "image" toh all good for the labels then.....waah.....lol yeh business sense of corporations bhi ajeeb ho gaya hai aajkal....they don't even stop to wonder if kisi cheez mein substance hai....bas blindly followers hain toh kuch bhi gaana release karva lo with that person. Baat wohi hai ki there is no Quality Control in the entertainment business na....lol whatever the audience pays a ticket for or gives views to automatically becomes "quality" in the eyes of corporations......koi regulation nahin hai to even verify the views as being legit....lol cheap internet ki wajah se open gundaraj hai.

Yeh bhi point valid tha Palash ka ki music toh sunna hi hai na logon ko....they will listen to whatever options you give them even if they won't remember it past one day.....lol....he seems to have hope for the next generation paying attention to independent artists and listening to them....lol let's see if it goes anywhere.

Exactly!! Salim suleiman were like a staple in most yrf films and then they have faded when they were such superior music conposers or even vidhal Shekhar have such less work now .T series literally ate a curse to music industry the fact that they almost have a monopoly is killing the bollywood music Industry. The amount of people T series have finished for no reason is insane. I mean nobody even has to name then to know how many people have they wronged it is out there for everyone to see and they don't let anyone else even take the smallest amount of business share like for example we have yrf music but do they even exist now I don't even think as they have anyways taken a step back after the last few bad years . And then we have Zee which anyway is killing whatever little work they have by not giving the rights to the streaming platforms like they have some phaddha with both spotify and saavn Caz wih jio walon ka hai..I had it for years but now most music doesn't even come there so what is tbe point listening to desi songs itself is beginning to be so hard with each platform releasing heirr own selective music and I tih hate how they keep changing the looks so it is so hard to find a song these days I am old school that day so I uses to like when you open the app and it showed everything new in one place ..but see that is the thing who.is even benefitting not artists not the audience just the corporates

Lmao got that feeling last week ke first scene main only after which I left hat halfway too..bhai iske loye bhi koi dhang ka actor to choose kar lete this guy just looks so abnormal and acts like that too but guess nepotism dada ji ka naam use karke roles lete raho ughhh pehle SC main aaya Caz dad ka show faltu main and ab yahan

LOL maine toh pehle bhi point kiya tha na ki it's obvious that there is rampant nepotism in the Pak TV industry also......Bilal who apparently is an award winning actor still isn't given the respect of a lead actor in most of his shows....lol random chomus ko laakar third angles banake unko prop up karte rehte hain and yeh bhaisaab side mein bas one sided bechaare lover bane ghoomte hain. Does he have no better choices for scripts or do they change the script after he signs it?

Repeating for the millionth time again that IM is the only show that has let him properly be center stage like his talent deserves.

Woh Farhan Saeed ko dekh lo who's not even as good an actor as Bilal but gets lead/prominent roles in most of his shows....lol the side angle is not propped up at his expense and yeh identifiable hero hota hai show ka. Bas Bilal ke case mein hi kyun sideline hota rehta hai woh?
