Not only for lawyers. This is applicable to all the profession.

I as a doctor cannot divulge my Patient's information to anybody.

Because it's breach of privacy for Armaan s client.

Abhira has good intention. But that still does not give her a right to either read those files or confront Armaan about it.

As a professional lawyer on the prosecution side, she has to wait for the evidence to be mailed to her office.

As a wife/friend she has to ask Armaan before reading them. Even then Armaan reserves the right to refuse her.

I hope my point is clear now.

Who knows if she had good intentions. When she confronted Armaan she didn't even want to listen to his side of the story. If she did then she would've. I think internally she wants Dadisa to be blamed for this/has a bias towards her already. Also I don't think as a wife/friend she's legally allowed to read those documents. I think attorney-client privilege comes into play where no information is released to anyone without the client's permission.

But there are proper methods for that. Confrontation Armaan is not one of them.

She could have suggested this to Dev, who then would have approached Poddars.

Abhira was wrong to read Armaan's files. I agree with Shree she actually gave reasons for Armaan to believe she stole the file. Only she knew he had locked them up. Armaan is not at all wrong today!
