They haven't explored this whole bitterness she had ke usko beta banke ghar bachana padega nakwaas like it never felt like she was doing it out of love ya actually helping her father..it always felt like she feels the burden and resents them.and bhoj utter rahi hai..and yeah the whole she is samjhdaar thing..yeah samjhdaar ladkiyaan just keep interfaring in the boss ki life faltu ka without him asking for it and then be like oh you got the wrong idea..I wouldn't even blame azfar..he felt someone caring for him going out of the way for the first time so he fell in love but yeh madam kabhi kisi ka courtier and banana kabhi kuch..again what does a secretary office employee has to do at his home planning his day woh bhi aone family se chupke that woo when they weren't exactly friends either or on good terms..or being at hospital when his father had the stroke.. like bruh she was so extra agar koi jaata bhi hai toh formal sa get well soon as a company as a group jaate hain log as far as I am familiar with pakistan ka business and work culture.. uppar se madam had the audacity to act all smug about it and yell at Salman and blame him for doing shak and being interfaring huh?? Ek taraf madam ji was going on about how she can twist his buttons knows him and dusri taraf apne self claimed BF ko itni bhi understanding nahi deni that if he is asking a valid question toh answer him decently without accusing him of doubting you..? That whole track just turned extra pathetic Caz alia was just such a pos in name of making her complicated and yehabgaltu ka azfar ko itna footage de de ke sar chadhao felt more like them doing ego service to sherrry when well we all know he is all about looks acting bechare se hoti nahi jitna bhi try kar le..
About phupo toh she basically just used thanvi to get out if the marriage with Adil.. she particularly didn't marry the 3rd guy same day or at the same time..everyone thought that she ran with thanvi as he liked her but she considered him friend only and then ditched him Caz he thought too ke uske saath bhaag rahi hain phupo and then stayed out of fam to later at some time marry her pasand ka safdar.. phupo didn't had any feeling for Adil or thanvi then but phupo thanvi track was probably the cutest and best in the show..
And yeah almas and Salman were so cute and I did liked how almas always told Salman where he could be wrong too and bas mera beta hamesha sahi nahi karti rehti thi.. that friends wala bond was rather sweet to see
Woh choti behan ka track toh kaafi faltu hi tha I didn't liked it mcuh either but wih Deepak and maid ka track was decent too with how phupo adopted him and he was part of their family and badi behan ka bhi..again funny kr main leads se zyada fleshed out to badi behan ka track tha
LOL oh so that was all there was? Bas Amma ki ek baar help ki toh suddenly pyar ho gaya? ....I mean Salman was teased about Aliya even before that by his mom and his friend....tab toh he never acknowledged it...but suddenly within one day of moving into Aliya's house, he was making puppy eyes at her, throwing flowers and asking for commitment......matlab chaahe toxic drama wala show ho ya light family drama wala, dono mein they cannot write love stories convincingly
Was their intent with naming the show "Kuch Ankahi" to claim that this is unsaid si love story of Salman Aliya? LOL cuz that REALLY didn't come through....ankahi mein bhi undercurrents toh dikhte hain clearly....inka toh utna bhi nahin tha. Salman ka love bhi suddenly went from 0 to 100 and he was busy acting all hurt and all when she didn't reciprocate....oh please bhai....lol only Bilal ki acting saved these scenes warna kuch substance nahin tha.
I also didn't like how they twisted the issue into making Salman seem like "typical mard" who can't stand a woman being more successful than him....lol like just to glorify the FL, they always have to keep shaming the ML and instantly labeling him a misogynist....lol yes Salman seemed to enjoy being the one Aliya was dependent on to fix her car but their professional rivalry was never about a gender thing.....it wasn't that he didn't want to see a woman getting ahead of him.....everyone was always putting words into his mouth and that was set up as the narrative. His main issue was insecurity that Aliya will leave him for a more rich/successful man....usi ki wajah se he got upset seeing her new car/favors the boss was giving her. And yes, this Aliya herself was being extra organizing birthday decorations etc. for "just my boss" and then gaslighting anyone who questioned her extra familiarity with the boss.....lol Pak shows ko bhi dhang se triangles likhne nahin aate.....common theme hai to gaslight MLs in stories both sides of the border
All in all, puri story mein ek meaningful convo nahin dikhaya between Salman Aliya and last epi mein suddenly she is giving coy expressions to him when he's trying to put a ring on her....waah kya story hai
Re: Phupo....lol arey I know she used Thanvi to get out of her shaadi with Adil but my god hadh level ka tamasha to show THREE men simultaneously lattu over her....lol she ditched one using the second guy to run to a THIRD one
. I mean her scenes with Thanvi were cute otherwise but yeh kaafi cringe tha ki ek time pe teen bando ke beech hop kar rahi thi.....lol
Pak shows mein kitni tehzeeb ke saath dikha lete hain loose character tamaashe....ek yeh Phupho with her teen aashiqs .....and woh Samiya ke case mein she knows her husband has a GF that he is constantly hanging out, phir bhi shaadi karke uske ghar mein padi rahi....aur is sabko normalize karke log aaram se discuss kar rahe hain....woh behen khud bol rahi hai ki mujhe toh aise hi rehna hai....waaaah....
