I am extremely impressed by Piyush today. He was so smooth in that pressure.

I knew they won’t be winning it but I did wanted them to be in top 4 and glad they are in top 4.

Its disappointed a lot of people but I'm just glad we got Shreya and Hussain this season, along with some great music guests. For one, I am very thankful they got Anand-Milind (after 14 effing seasons, can ya believe that) and did a Hemant Kumar special. This season did have a more classier vibe imo and I feel had Sony not brought season 14 within 6 months of season 13 ending, the numbers would be better.

for some reason I thought the TRP’s were good, which is why eliminations were alternate weeks not every week

I said the same thing in earlier in my post about idol 14 starting this early they should have waited for some time.

Man, I can't believe Vaibhav actually won. Here I was hoping, for months, that he'd make a deep run and not get eliminated early. The fact that he made the finals was a surprise. The fact that he actually won, over Piyush and Ananya? That's hilarious. I both love it for how crazy it is and sad because man they corrupted the hell out of this show.

My watch group disintegrated a few weeks back, half of them quit watching entirely and the other half watched episodes individually of late, with hopes of maybe getting together to watch the semifinal and final episodes together. They don't know the result yet, but I can't wait to see their response.

LMFAO at VAIBHAV of all people winning? over Ananya or Piyush or even Shubodeep for that matter good for him but this is the weirdest result

They might discontinue Jhalak but don’t think they will discontinue idol because we thought same with IBD because season didn’t do well in trp compare to season 1 and super dancer that’s why show was wrap up within 2-3 months bit they brought new season.

To give due credit Anjana was v good today; Ananya was not upto her mark in the first challenge round, I feared she would get eliminated first.

I like Vaibhav, have always enjoyed his performances ; but NO WAY is he better than Piyush, Shubhodeep or Ananya.

Between these 3, going by today’s performance, my pick was Piyush, he scored over Ananya for me today - mostly they are on par for me. Shubhodeep as usual overdid it.
Piyush’s disappointment was as evident as Vaibhav’s shock. So Idol has produced another Destiny’s favoured child. 🙄. Anyways Congratulations to Vaibhav & wishing him all the best.

Actually I enjoyed the finale since it was proper singing by the finalists sans performance.

Got a truckload of Sonu’s performance - solo slot , then with Piyush & then with the 4 finalists. Shreya’s solo was once more mind blowing. The cherry on the cake was of course the duets of Sonu-shreya. Some of us were hoping & wishing for this. It was bliss. 💕👌👌.

Neha sharing the seat with Shreya…😳 oh well, all is forgiven, since they gave us Sonu -shreya magic , ❤️.
Btws, SS3 kids were v good, esp that boy 👍. With Neha already jumping like a gooseberry, this was a curtain-raiser of sorts. 🙄. Bracing myself….

PV_IFhandle, tagging you, do catch the SS duets at the beginning of part 2 on SonyLiv . It popped up as 2 clips for me, don’t know whether they merged it now.

Sorry, I’m going to probably post too many rants, I’m watching the episode now and I have to say that I’m baffled by what the judges are doing?

All others selected to the top 5, Ananya and Adya left - were Vaibhav and Anjana better than Ananya?

As much as I like Shubhadeep, his Mitwa disappointed me. He was good until he overdid the aalaps.

I think at that point it becomes evident that Ananya wasn’t going to be in the top 3, or maybe because I already knew.

For me Piyush’s tu hi tu, followed by Ananya and then Anjana

I’m afraid this was the last season for me 😩

I don’t understand why artists like Shreya & Kumar Sanu come to judge these shows and actually don’t judge? All they say is hit lit and wah wah while the contestants are singing. It’s not judging anymore, just there to clap. Although I must say I loved Shreya on the show because I just love her as an artist.
