Regarding Katrina's age, she once mentioned she was 8 when the Berlin Wall fell (someone posted the interview here), which would mean she was born in 1981. There are inconsistencies in her statements. Plus, her sister Christine was a famous p0rnstar, and both Katrina and her sister Isabelle were photographed with Terry Stephens. Isabelle also did a movie called Back riders or something with Terry Stephens. None of these details are any secret.

Ayesha Shroff who produced Boom also said Kaif is not her father's name. They had to brown fish since Turquotte surname won't work in India. So they randomly chosen cricketer Mohamad Kaif's surname. Kat's dad is white. He's remarried with kids. Reddit has a thread with his pics. Proper white dude lol. Kat brown fished and hence doesn't wanna talk about her dad at all. 

Lots of actors opt for stage names, so using a fake name isn't uncommon. However, most actors are open about their real names and the reasons behind their Bollywood aliases. In Katrina's case, she always seems to conceal her past. There have also been rumors suggesting her parents were involved in an international school that allegedly involved traveling the world and selling these young girls as escorts to earn money, and both she and her sisters were supposedly part of it.
