Armaan was not being insensitive.

He didn't choose to vent on Abhira the same way Charu did with Armaan. He said it in the heat of the moment and apologized right away. Charu, on the other hand, blamed Armaan in the heat of the moment, and she doesn't even realize it. In the next scene, she is shown still blaming Armaan and Abhira for her own lack of strength to stand up for herself.

Charu is playing foul, but Armaan is not.

Even Dev is tell that foolish girl the truth had to come out
