Ishq, such a regressive movie and doesn’t even stand a chance . Hate that rape scene and how it was used to take revenge and ‘teach’ the girl just like in ‘Dil’.
AhAT, great movie well enacted by all of the cast. And one of the best soundtracks too. 🤌
Aamir’s chemistry with children in his movies is unparalleled.

saw it a long time agoAkele hum akele tum easily. Great performances and songs are really good
I also love Ishq (first half) a lot - with brilliant comedy and Aamir-Juhi chemistry. The songs are great.
However the second half is really bad. Like really regressive and I wished Kajol Aamir never forgave the so-called "friends".
The distasteful almost-rape scene to "teach" a lesson was also cringeworthy.
Akele Hum Akele Tum
It's one of my favourite Aamir Khan movie!

I love them both. Ishq has less votes so I voted for it because the cast is superb, it's the last Aamir/Juhi pairing, and the songs are all wonderful.
Out of the two movies Aamir did with Manisha (interestingly enough both remakes of Hollywood classics), I prefer Mann but I did love AHAT as well. In fact, I thought this version did a much better job with the wife character that Manisha plays than what Meryl Streep won an Oscar for in Kramer vs. Kramer. Manisha's character felt way more sympathetic and I could feel for her whereas in Kramer vs. Kramer, Streep's character is always kept in the background. Barely present and we never see her POV so it's hard to feel anything good towards her.
Ishq
Both good films. Akele Hum edges it
