Just 0.8 TRP for the week when Superstar Singer captains came. Not a good sign for SSS3.
It's the worst decision by Sony. IPL starts in two weeks post SSS3 launch. Do they really think people will leave IPL and watch this? I was earlier wondering why didn't Sony do Super Dancer instead of Superstar Singer and when the IPL dates released then I understood why. Looks like SSS3 will become the bali ka bakra this time.
The Grand Finale TRP of 1 is possibly the worst in recent memory.
Sony TV may need a shake up. If all your shows have TRP's of 1 or below then you are not able to build viewership for fresh shows as no one is switching on to the channel other then those who have an interest in a particular show. That is never enough. A few hit shows help keep audiences hooked to a channel.
