Ok I've caught up till Epi 5 of Burns road toh will post my thoughts on that before I watch the rest.
Production values are good....cast is all good too and seem like they can act. Koi stilted nahin hai.
I am esp liking the way they have filmed it different sa hai.kuch toh then the usual way had a very film wala feel to certain scenes and their motorbike rides with the song..good cinematography along with good production values
OST is lovely! I like both the main version as well as the instrumental waali that they play in Farhad-Freeha ke scenes. Build up of their attraction/love has been shown sweetly.....that "toh phir, toh phur" thing is nicely done :)
First time I'm watching Iqra ka show and she has charm and screen presence. Acting is also good. Hamza is also good but I guess usko body building ka shauk hai
. In a few scenes he goes a little overboard hamming in the "lovestruck" expression
I love that toh phir toh phur too so made their signature and yeah maylab woh first sight wala attraction and pyar ko nicely grow kar eahe hain inke woh bohag made up nahi lag raha kuch bhi and class difference is also shown nicely except that I did go a bit🤨 at dad's ka ego clash over that parking thing but her dad is so rude ainvayi faltu main paise ka ghamand but yeah paisa hj Haj ghamand ku wajah muh ki khayenge..
Speaking of Bilal....lol I laughed when I saw woh Freeha ke baby bro ka naam Bilal hai and usko sab Billu bolte hain....that reminded me of what you'd told me about Bilal ki fangirls
Freeha ki side ki family mein woh Phupho ka second chance love story subplot has some potential....hopefully they handle it dhang se and don't make it pakaau. Her father is super sweet to Freeha but otherwise has the arrogance of wealth and wohi reason ke liye clash karega with Farjad's dad.....they also seem to be super proprietary and rigid about marrying within their caste/community. Maa ka kuch connection lagta nahin Freeha se....main bonding is with the dad and her cousins. Farhad ki side pe he seems closer to his mom than dad even though his dad loves him dearly but opinions clash karte hain. And baaki toh whole time he's with his cousin Jojo....uska character bhi cute hai. Yeah hope so yeh phupo ka tra k theek se chale abhi toh unko.as example if nakaam.shaadi use kia jaa raha hai poor phupo even if she is such a sweetheart what i hate is yeh freeha kj maa ka role being only a rude ass person to everyone she is mean tk everyone and inka har waqt ka woh chacha and chachi ko.bhi.paison pe neeche dikhate rehna and yeh caste wala bakwaas but wohi plot haj toh aur hi exaggerate karte raheinge yeh wala.
Farhad and papa ka bhi woh intresting hai that they do have similar views basnkehne ka tareeka alag hota hai i like how they show the dad's love in small gestures be it for farhaad or for the beti the way he brought the jewellery he is shown to be the average dad who is told to.remain sakht and keep a dostance from.children but andar se teddy bear hi hain
I also find it funny that Freeha ki apni family mein hi koi uska naam dhang se pronounce nahin karta....everyone adds the "a" sound as if it's FAriha
Lol yes I laughed at that too ke naam rakh toh Dia but khud hi bolna nahi aata or just careless execution ke.khud sab fariha bolte hain which is a different name .isi liye she told him ke he is the forst insaan to say it right haha
Also a big lol at farhaad ka sadma at rejection
and Jojo ka best one liners ke body banane aaya tha deadbody lag raha hai farhaad ne bhi poore gym ka hi saans nikaal Dia tha..I do like ke how the cousins samjhao and do sensible baatein on both sides but also are hilarious when needed toh ache se balance kar rahein hain woh bonds put on nahi lagte
yeh toh mujhe bhi nahi Pata tha i thought original hi hai and it had grown so much on me and is stuck in my head..but then I Don't really listen to pakistani music
