That level of selflessness is not of this world. You think an ordinary human in today's day and age would leave for a promise? Would give up his wealth for a hut? No way. This is why it baffles me that an extrapolation is used to malign Ramji in the Kal yug but people aren't as kind, compassionate, selfless, empathetic, humble, loving as him. You think those who judge him for Uttar Ramayan would follow their husbands to the forest in this day? Or would give away their wealth to their siblings? Or the siblings would safeguard it like a trust and return it after the exile period was over? Please! It's very easy to judge but no one can be like him.
I have no idea about first two lines...
Todays era is considered as Kaliyug...while Ramayan is considered from way way before that..that yug was different..the souls purity level was different...I feel even they made mistakes, the realizations and acceptance and repentance was there quickly..So what they are showing the qualities he possessed is possible...it shows if one applies these virtues, one can safeguard oneself from Ravan (5 vices). His dharma parayanta made others heart melt and worked as mirror and changed them. He did not expect anything from his side. He remained detached yet loving to all.
Can't comment about others perception of taking Uttar Ramayan...
My vivek personally is not ready to accept that he would do such thing...there has to be deep pure mansa behind that
WE are misunderstanding the deep meaning significance and molding it conveniently according to our dictates (manmaat) nowadays...apni inner ichchayon ko purna karne ke liye kai maryadaon ko marod dete hain...
We become judge for others but Vakil for ourselves
I have seen some of the above mentioned qualities dominant in my surroundings but not all of them.
We all have those qualities but in percentage...not sampaan sampurna.
I may not have share proper thoughts to your questions.
