I say 99% bashing is due to that. Many wouldn't have even bothered with simple mistakes he's human after all. But this ruhi angle is killing his progress it's like one step forward two steps back

I don't know what's the purpose of his scenes with ru anymore. He will resist her advances and shout at her but at the end ru will emotionally blackmail and guilt trip him and we go back to square one where he will act friendly with her.
