Neil as a character was always meant to be like this , sure he knew a lot about Mahajans but having info on them isn't enough cause those people control everything around them with money so he couldn't even bring a small change , after the AV track i started seeing him as a male version of Shubbadra ; one who could've done a lot but readuced to just making faces and sarcastic comments.....plus him magically solving any of Yuvika's problems would've been far fetched

The only track in which i was actually annoyed that he didn't get anything to do was in Vidur uncle 's track.....he tried to do so much to help Yuvika but did nothing for his dad....that was the one time i desperately wanted him to do something....

For me it's the way his character was positioned in the story which was intresting. He and vidur are not insider but they have much info about family affairs and business issues (this one for vidur). Such characters are relevant for stories even if they are not lead.

The way neil used to talk about everyone, dj, db, the way his character was shaping around hating mahajan those were intriguing. Its like he knows a lot but not letting it out. They actually gave a good buildup for the Neil's coming forward during pheonix track. Like kartik asking how Neil as a guy, dj informing gargi that Neil came in mahajan house after 15 years, gargi giving fascinating smile. DB staring angrily to Neil when he came first in home. All these things were moving to supposedly to big showdown till they decided to make popat of audience.

Both bhardwaj men could be threat to mahajans but cvs decided to make vidur the most laachar person and neil the PA whose whole life revolves around yuvika only.

He did guide Yuvika....and that was the extent of his capablities , he wasn't in a place to have control over the Mahajans

Yes... I agree...just informations are not enough...you need power to use them to your advantage... specially when you are fighting against the Mighty empire...

So I thought ki One day Neil might come to a powerful position...when they started talking about his start up..but I guess this is what makers want his character to be...

I get that the Bharadawaj men could've done some serious damage but Vidur could've been easily threatened with an attempt on Neil's life to keep him quiet and Vidur could've forced Neil to not react to anything

They had an amazing buildup but it was ruined

Yep that was the song which was used in the 75th aniversary

But how does that cursed dance come under "recreating character equations of the initial episodes" by the writers? Yuvika and DJ never had dance offs before
