They were down and out last evening after taking a sound battering from England's openers and were staring at a long day in the field. That didn't come to pass though because India, despite being handicapped by the withdrawal of Ashwin, turned up today with an inspired bowling effort. Kuldeep Yadav began proceedings and he was a completely different bowler to the one he was yesterday.Bumrah started it off with the wicket of Joe Root and that triggered a rather spectacular collapse. Stokes, with an 89-ball 41, was the only one to show any real resistance as England have been sent packing for just 319 after being 224/2 at one stage earlier today. India will come out to bat with a 126-run lead when at one stage it looked like they'd even struggle to get one.
