Yep i agree with all above. she didnt fit in gangu role and it was overacting. You can achieve a lot of things but greed for more and more will pull u down faster than u rose up.

The reason she bore the brunt of “non-derserving” tag as the headline says, is because everyone believes she facilitated her own win. No one thinks that Filmfare handed her that award without any involvement or manipulation from her. So yea it speaks highly of the lack of credibility and seriousness that Filmfare is facing right now. But that doesn’t absolve Alia from her role in this mess.

The only thing that’s surprising in all this is that people have left KJo alone. Let’s see if he’ll stay out of in the next season of KWK, or will try to whitewash it like he did with wipe it off drama. I can already hear Alia: I don’t care about trolls. My team told me ye toda out of hand hogya and I told them jaane do, but then people attacked Ranbir’s win too and called him undeserving and he’s the most deserving one ever. 🙄

She was a misfit as Gangubai as she looked weak and pale. Gangubai was a strong and determined woman.

Alia is highly over rated, good that she is being exposed.

All these insecurities, trying to prove self as no 1, is now falling apart.

No, she didn't fit well for the role of Gangubai. She was looking childish. At places her expressions were not up to mark.
