I don’t know. I can only watch a movie and decide for myself if I find an actor suitable for the role or they made me cringe. Sharukh’s way of speaking in the movie was really odd. Did something happen to his voice or was it deliberate?

I read this in others reviews here also. Maybe he tried to do an accent and didn't master it enough? To me, it doesn't matter as I haven't an ear for these nuances.

It would be unfortunate if this distracts from his performance. But I can understand that this really can hamper the pleasure to watch the movie.

Did they delete the scene about Harddy's ex-girlfriend either I missed it or it was not there

Don't know about Netflix (Dunki not yet on German Netflix), but on the website where I generally watch Indian movies when they get streamed (with also an archive of old movies and with the possibility to download them), Hardy's narration about how it happened that he got called "Joker" because of the girlfriend he was about to marry is in the movie.

That would be very unfortunate at it makes understanding Hardy's love and dedication for Manu in a better way than without this part.
