Ashwin: @Manikanta, I think not having Senior Pros is a blessing in disguise for this Indian team as I believe this is the right time to groom a set of new players who can contribute to the team for the next 5 - 6 years. Setbacks during transition phase are expected and should not be a worrying sign.

Manikanta: @Pratik, can't agree more, and even the Indian team is letting themselves be bossed in some or the other way. However, I believe that India's batting order is a major concern that is adding to their timid cricket. Not having all of Virat Kohli, Che Pujara, and Ajinkya Rahane is a huge setback IMO.

Pratik: @Atul, England IMHO, have been in this series like - "We can boss you at home. And watch us as we do just that." England have won more sessions in the series than India.

Harish: This does not look like a flat deck at all based on 1st hour. Pitch offering Spin, few balls keeping low, reversing swing, sticking in the pitch. Its all happening for now.

Atul: If India will play ultra cautiously, wickets will come faster. Some one will have to punch back and say "hey you can't boss us at home". ---- here's Rohit doing just that

STAT: The last time India lost their first three wickets for under 35 runs in a home Test was against Sri Lanka at the Eden Gardens in 2017

Maestro Manohar: Happy to see Sarfaraz finally making his international debut, after bashing all those bowlers in domestic arena, could be the perfect counter for England's Bazball.
