Arre meine pehle hi bola tha... Makers ne toh dikhaya bhi nahi and even the audience forgot about the asli issue - slap took precedence over graver issue.

But it may happen ki they have deliberately not revealed it because Veer ko bhi expose karna baki hai - badtameezi and badsaluki se kuch nahi hoga. The word badtameezi was even used today for aggression.
