The care for each other. There is affection for each other.

I know he dusre din Ruhi and armaan k scene dekhke unko ship krna mushkil hai.

But today scene was about their concern for each other without any romantic feeling from anyone side.

Just consider them as friends right now. They don't consider that marriage real. And Ruhi is armaan ex living in front of him.

With this perspective, story is actually understandable. Atleast we can watch and enjoy a little.
