From the last fifteen years each and every writer associated with the legacy wanted to prove that there are no villains or vamps only different shades of human nature.

Ideally if Crow's writers were a part of 4th generation they would have kept the suspense of Abhira's identity as a trump card.
Here Ruhi cannot connect the dots that Abhira is indeed Goenka's great granddaughter.
To keep Goenka's relevant writers brought a con man as Abhir, he cheated Goenka's still Manish nor Suwarna discussed about the phone call made one last time by Akshara. He could have asked the police to trace the call.
Makers dropped the track completely to bring in Dev Shekhawat.
His scenes with Charu don't fit in the episodes by now Abhira and Dev should have met. I am waiting for writers to make some connection..
When story is kind of stagnant, Yuvraj's comeback definitely should create some drama for Armaan and Poddar's.
Yuvraj is the X factor.
And Gaurav Sharma knows how to play his part.
