People are right to be disappointed. The writing has given MJ no margin to redeem herself or prove herself. It just seems like a love of convenience for her own sake, because the moment something challenges it, she’s ill equipped to handle it. And she’s ill equipped to understand or handle Zaid.

He’s probably at his lowest point at the moment, feeling like a failure, angry at the circumstances, and this girl is really throwing dinner parties and inviting husband offender # 1 to their house 🤦🏻‍♀️

haha same. I guess after all the torture the show made us go through, they’re just hoping for one pair to have some hope. Story wise it makes no sense but yeah, Zanjabeel can force anything lol. The current MJ in Karachi with Zaid needs to walk away from him for good. But the Turkey MJ should maybe be given a second chance lol

I think the most important thing is that the narrative should be respected. But I’m not sure we will get that.

The food scene with Zaid shows her lack of empathy towards him too, he is lying there depressed and hurt, going through a crisis but she wants him to have dinner with her.

She could have brought food for him in the room if they wanted to show her care for him but they didn't, what we got was a scene where MJ says she can't stay hungry because of whatever is going on in the house

Zaid who can't eat when he thinks about assault Ayra went through and MJ who lacks empathy.

You note how she left the room, she was fed up of Zaid too, the irritation was visible so this empathy wasn't even there for someone she claims to love, if not for Ayra then how could she eat when he is so upset?

This was a minor interaction, she goes on to invite the man who attempted to molest Ayra for dinner in Zaid's house

Yep. That pretty much sums up my thought process too. This was such a ripe moment to show an actual growth for her but it was not availed. Which makes me more certain that Zaid and MJ are simply incompatible and this difference in their moral compass and empathy will always create challenges in their relationship. They’re never on the same page.

Agree that she looked 100% done with him when she left and slammed the door. Irritated as hell. Because she’s still making the whole situation about herself and not thinking about Zaid or Ayra’s position. Heck, she’s not even going after her brother who might be a potential rapist! How is she so chill lol. Given how willingly Rayan offered the evidence to Kashmala in his drunken state, it would have been a piece of cake for MJ to get the truth out of him.

She went to find the truth when she met Rayyan, if Rayyan was smarter and had not revealed one part of Asif's lie then MJ would have done everything to use it to throw Ayra out of Zaid's life but because she got to know the truth through Rayyan, she knew it being hidden was the best course of action for her marriage to survive. What she didn't understand was that her marriage would have been safe if she had been honest to Zaid, wouldn't that have been easier?

But her conversation with Asif cleared this doubt, not knowing the truth keeps Ayra out of the house. She finally got Ayra out of the house, she wouldn't ruin that by telling him the truth

Ultimately the ball is in Zaid’s court. He should be with the person that only HE loves, not due to any sympathy, guilt or duty. Those things have have already complicated things enough.

Well that’s Ayra but she’s not going to take him back now. That’s the thing. It WON’T be Zaid’s decision. The ending is about his defeat. Because of his Mein

it’s both a bit hopeful and poetic justice for him to just end up with MJ - the woman he has wronged so much lol

There is no narrative and already disrespected, it's a mess. At least we should get MJ's self respect happy ending, walking out from this marriage is only happy ending I can accept.
