You can they could have even used this insecurity for Deva to come close to Tara to comfort her but I am sure writers wont do that...i think the writer never got any love in his life..so he just cant think that way..

15th tak bhi nahi milega humein... Sunday ko hi finish kar denge... within 4 episodes Preeti ka real face hi dekhne ko milega... Devra ki love story andhoori mili hum logo ko
