Filmfare has been selling awards since decades. Rishi Kapoor himself bought his debut award. It never had any credibility. It was just an entertaining program. But with all A listers missing the awards the entertainment is also gone

Just bashing everything relative to the FF-Awards is, imo, superficial...or going with a trend...

I'm not bashing it. FF awards simply haven't been credible since the 80s. India doesn't have authentic award functions except for the National Award. It's all show and glamor.
