Haven't they normalised it via Angad who has never shown any repentance? Slap isn't the only way you can be violent. Angad has done way worse.

In fact in this scenario they are clearly showing Keerat falls out of love with Veer and falls for whoever is kind to her. It is not a case of normalizing. Veer will be called out by head abuser of house Angad and will lose Keerat (rightly).

Veerat doesn't normalise physical abuse , Veer will be punished, only Angad gets excuses of heartbreak and what not for his violence.
