not really. He was not nominated for best actor. I am not even talking about him winning. 12th fail was nominated for best movie and direction but not best actor. I find it very rigged and fixed.

FF gives the popular award to big stars with big commercial films. So m not surprised. Vikrant was expected to win the critics choice which he did.

Shefali shared the critics award with Rani which was unfair. She was so good in Three of Us. And Manoj deserved it equally as Vikrant.

All over social media fans are saying rani deserved it more than Alia. Just because your favorite is Alia, it does not mean she deserved it. Screaming and shouting is not considered acting.

Best actor was much deserved by any of the following - Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh or Vikrant Massey. Vicky is exceptional as Sam, Ranveer is super adorable and likeable as Rocky and Vikrant’s hardwork was so visible. Ranbir was the last to deserve!

Alia too didnt deserve it this time as Rani was a much mediocre role/portrayal. Could have given to Kiara Advani for Satyaprem ki katha or Sharmila Tagore for Gulmohar. But still there werent much good performances from women this year so fine.

After having read everything interesting in the e-Hindustan Times (they allow to skip the cookies) and watched some pics on Google, I just started my backwards reading in the thread and came upon this Insta video...well...

I think, I can skip the show...and seemingly, a loooot of prominent industry people did the same

To some awards, I can agree, but they are mostly technical ones (and some critic ones).

I still wonder why Hyundai associated itself with this...
