alia deserves to win for student of the year, two states, Humpty, highway, udta Punjab, raazi, Kapoor and sons, gully , gangu bai etc. but alia is rocky ki rani was not best acting. the win dilutes her other powerful performances.......but not sure who should have won, this year was very weak for female roles, but if you're going by hit being the criteria, then deepika should have won for Pathaan but she wasn't even nominated for the role.....

Yes but not to keep her relevant as Alia isn’t irrelevant by any means. But she hasn’t had the kind of box office numbers that Deepika has or is having, and she had to share the National Award with Kriti . Trust me the fact that KJo didn’t bring it up even once on KWK is very indicative of how much sharing the NA has upset Alia and her team. This is more for the headlines and bragging rights of how she’s tied with Kajol and Nutan and how she’ll likely break their records in a year or two. Now the fact that Filmfare has lost all credibility is ….

Filmfare is a joke, no credibility or seriousness. The show is tacky and more like a comedy show that an awards show. And even the NA are a joke, there is no credible movie awards shows in india
