Yes, being abandoned by the mom at a young age and the constant brainwashing by the Gundas have damaged Ishan’s emotional stability over the years.

I don’t also get this Ishan Reeva’s connection. The whole love story happened so suddenly. I feel for Ishaan the difference will be Savi challenging him and his beliefs- though he might outwardly hate it but will still admire her for it. Savi might teach a thing or two about life which will help him come out of the hate bubble Kurekha has built around him.

The issue with Reeva is she is too passive. She won’t challenge Ishaan in anything and Ishan will be in the same mode how he was before he met her. Reeva is a people ( Read Bhosle) pleaser so she Will hardly have any issues. Only time will tell if her love is selfless or maniacal.
