MPK is the better film.

HAHK is basically a bunch of songs sewn together with a wafer-thin plot. Don't get me wrong, it is a highly entertaining film with a banging soundtrack. But MPK has a raw charm of young love and rebellion. There is also an added innocence with both leads being so new and unknown at the time.

I completely agree. MPK has repeat value for me. Hahk is a good film but one time watch
