You are right..they were friends from childhood now they have met again after years in different circumstances. Now that the misunderstandings are cleared they have to reflect on their feelings for each other. You can never expect them to be friends for all their life. They haven't confessed their feelings to each other. They have to realise what they feel and want from this marriage. This separation will definitely help them to introspect their own feelings and their love for one another. Makers have to show the realisation slowly...aaise sudden nahi hota love realisation. Today's TRP day..let's hope for at least 1. Last week tracks should have been well received by TRP audiences.
