Yess..her efforts surely did worked. Deva is not ruthless. He is emotional and his past is stopping him from accepting any kind of love from anyone. He is scared and scarred. Tara also made a place for herself in his life . He accepts her as his wife before public again denies her before public.

He needs time to accept his mother and family. It's just been few days he got to about his family and also biggest truth of his existence. 24 hours challenge won't work here. He is alone all his life, suffered alone now whole family is here so he have to accept them. It will happen eventually...maybe one day he will forgive his mother and accept her . Seeing her in pain caused by his stepfather he may melow down. But Tara should not force him .
