I think it was also coz Ankita has again and again asked Vicky to not take a stand for her (in that gold digger fight with Abhishek she got pissed at Vicky ke tu mere liye kyu lad raha hai, beech mein mat pad etc) and here khud Munnu ko involve kar rahi to take a stand for her, "Dekh na Munna ye kaise bol raha hai"
Uspe bhi Vicky's main issue was why was Munnu now taking a stand for Anku. Aise toh pehle Abhishek has also said so much against Ankita, but then Munnu never bothered taking a stand for his friend, ab yaad aa gyi dosti.
Munnu khud bhara pada tha Abhishek ke against but since he doesn't have it in him to fight directly so using Ankita as an excuse
