South Africa look a little more upbeat as they walk off for tea than they did around an hour ago. The bowling in that first hour after lunch, except for Rabada, was horrible. Too many half-vollies on offer as they went searching for wickets and Rohit and Gill made full use to get India off to a quickfire start. It took less than 10 overs for the visitors to take the lead, and they seemed to be running away with the game. However, South Africa were able to fight back led by Nandre Burger who found his rhythm in the last 30 minutes or so. The pitch remains quite difficult to bat on with the ball climbing disconcertingly off that good length region, and India's lead is already 56 with six wickets in hand. Remember, they don't have that extra cushion of Shardul Thakur lower down, so it's quite a long tail. How many more can they add? Back in 15..
