Little Kids do that. They can prefer one parent over the other. Telling you from my experience. when my kid is with her dad she refuses to let me carry her. She will keep holding on to him. I tell her jokingly you will embarrass me when I am outside people will question if I am your mom

When we go on long drives.....my daughter is like....Mama can you drive please and let Papa sit in the back with us.....I asked her why?? She is like ....Papa is more fun...he plays with us.....u are boring.......see kids are innocent.....they will tell u like it is.........they still love me.....so yes its Mommy chauffeuring while Papa entertains the kiddos......kids do all kinds of random things...because they are not diplomats and don't care what others think ....it doesn't mean anything really...
