It is a good movie and definitely enjoyable but maybe i had too much expectations from the SRK-Hirani combination ...

The later part of second half is where we see the vintage Hirani screenplay and scenes but before that it was just alright for me.

SRK has been trying out different kinds of movies lately, and while Dunki may not be the best ever, it's definitely not the worst either. Let's appreciate the fact that he's taking on diverse roles and I don't understand the negativity around.

When a film of his doesn't perform well, it seems like there's a group of people eager to criticize and bring him down. What's going on? Why doesn't this level of criticism apply to actors like Akshay, Ajay Devgn or Hrithik Roshan? Why does he receives more criticism or negative feedback compared to other ACTORS(OR STARS)?

I'd appreciate an answer without any confrontations.

Okay i know that I am going to be accused of being negatively and unfairly biased(but that’s your call entirely, so I really don’t care) but sorry…Dunki was indeed the weakest Hirani film ever film. too preachy, immature lame jokes, choppy screenplay and inconsistent performances from all…and it was also soulless and unemotional unlike previous Hirani movies where you felt sorry whenever someone died but here it wasn’t the case at all since it was just lacking the soul and emotional connect 🤦‍♀️

the only engaging sequence was the entire Turkey desert sequence but other than that…a MESS! very slow and boring…overall a total snoozefest! Indeed very bogus and childish like every reviewers said.

Also. Love that as far as acting is concerned Vicky stole the show First Deepu in Jawan and now Vicky in Dunki, everyone is stealing the thunder from the lead who is too much using VFX on his face

Me and my mother in law love love loved the movie. What a movie it was, my MIL telling everyone to watch the movie hehe. Performance ekdum mast by everyone. I loved both 1st and 2nd half, the dunki route scenes were so relatable coz we surely read a lot in news abt this, esp me coz my family always tell us stories of how gujju do all this to reach london or USA illegally.
songs touched the heart esp vatan wala and one scene touched my heart where she takes the mitti with her wow.
Ppl were still in theater when movie ended lol they wanted to watch it again i guess haha
