Yes, they started using housemate votes around BB11 (when laws became stricter).

Luv was evicted through stupid mall voting because BB realised he was gaining immense support and it was likely going to be another Manveer (BB10 situation). Luv was a sureshot top 2 because of his community votes, so they had to evict him.

Yes, that’s what I am saying, there are workarounds when someone they don’t want evicted gets least votes. But if they announce an eviction on audience votes, it is always 100% correct.

Finale votes are audited to full assurance, while weekly to limited assurance. Weekly assurance/limited audited lends credence to finale, otherwise they cannot rely on the IT systems.
