Amma from the Galaxy Lollywood has the same issue. She finds it hard to ignore the lack of logic and just enjoy it.

Waise I have a question, everyone keeps calling IM a fairy tale, fantasy, afsanvi and the reason why we should just enjoy it and not try to find logic in characters, situations, arcs. Can someone tell me what makes IM (or any other show) a fairy tale or fantasy where normal critiques no longer matter? Name some other dramas that fall in this category?

Note I don't think this is same as guilty pleasure - guilty pleasure is where you enjoy it despite the lack of logic but do accept the criticism about lack of logic and see it as sign of bad writing and quality. In a fantasy/ fairy tale otoh, I keep being told that lack of logic is not counted as a mark against quality of writing or drama overall - it's not a bug but a feature.

Thank god I am not the only one who doesn't enjoy this show. I am surprised by the views and ratings though.

I also don't get why IM is called a fairytale. The first couple of episodes got negative reviews from both SH and fuchsia and suddenly from 3rd or 4th episode review both were saying IM should be watched as a fairytale and I was also like what part of IM is a fairytale and even if it's a fairytale how does stalking and changing identities to get close to a girl becomes irrelevant if it's a fairytale.

I also dropped it after 5 episodes because the writing and directing is sloppy. I don't like St. Billu enough to go through an entire drama just to see his acting

All the scenes of bilal and his acting and most of the comedy scenes are good. If people can give views and rating for shows like ktk and tb, then IM is still far better than those
