Anyway I hope we get to see a good movie on Christmas atleast after Eid & Diwali of this year were ruined with mediocre movies & box office duds. 🤭

Hirani can make an average movie but he can never make a boring movie.

Munna Bhai: Arshad Warsi is in the top 25 Bollywood actors of ALL time, and Sanjay Dutt has always had a strong aura, so their duo really brought this great script to amazing levels.

3 Idiots: Everyone played their part very well

PK: While I loved PK as a movie, I think Aamir's OTT act was probably what turned people off even though it was important to the movie.

Sanju: Not really much acting because most of the cast was far too involved personally with the making of the film. Ranbir did convey Sanjay but the reason this movie did well was the personal controversies people remembered of someone who was once a big star.

Dunki: If SRK does not act well, the script will take a heavy hit. We know Vicky is the strongest performance of the cast, but SRK is shouldering the burden of this movie. I think the urban middle class is guarenteed, it won't flop, but it could be a Tiger 3 if he acts bad.

I won't rule SRK out, he has charm for days but we'll see. A shame because like I said, I'm more invested in Dunki and I like Taapsee - SRK as a combo.

Phas Gaye Reye Obama has done this concept very well (at least the first half!) as a small budget. I'm curious on the India vs NRI split on Dunki. I can see this breaking NRI records for SRK.

I think that's a guarentee but to pull off a movie like Dunki he'll have to perform at least as well as he did in Fan (at the minimum). Not sure if the trailer is a fluke.
