I understand that I come across as stubborn...

Actually, my reactions depend on what kind of opinion I read...I can accept that somebody finds a certain performance bad when giving some details what/why...simply asserting that a performance "is bad" is superficial and this, I don't find okay.

I don't defend Suhana, I defend my opinion...that is part of a (healthy) discussion, isn't it? (I think in the US, discussion about a certain subject with pro-contra is even part of the schooling). Mostly, I write about the ensemble cast whereas others mostly concentrate on the star-kids (and especially Suhana).

Usually, I give reasons for my reactions...also, why I like The Archies.

But if people want to put me in a box with a label on it, it's their choice.

I'm rather open about my feelings relative to what people write here and I think, a lot of negativity thrown at actors, actresses, star-kids etc. is just uttered for the fun of it...none of the members who do that would like to get this kind of hyped negativity thrown at them...

There is a lack of respect that saddens me...

You (= you) again got me wrong (deliberately?). I talked about the characters...the seven protagonists had to play 17 year old ones (I explained it...I feel, you didn't really read what I write but what you think I would write).

If you (= people here) found that the 20somethings played the youngsters in a wrong way, okay, it's your (= people's) perception...go to Zoya complaining! You (= people) just pretend that the movie hadn't a script and a director and that the cast just played around, don't you?

He looks 20s to me....anyways there is nothing wrong with being older/younger. Literally like others pointed out, Kareena at 22 did Chameli. Age rarely has anything to do with talent unless that includes a college education, or if someone is like 17-18 because there is a huge mental difference there. Babil Khan has also cut his age substancially.

Zoya has taken an interest to him. If he does well in movies, they (Akhtars) get a huge cut. Same reason why Alia/Karan works, Karan makes bank off Alia's success. She gives him a percentage of her salary. Dharma also operates this way.

There are no major younger boys in Bollywood. Most new boys will cut their age to seem younger. For actresses the demand is to be talented moreso than age because a lot of older actresses are doing better these days (Mrunal...Wamiqa...Tripti...etc).

Vedang is no more than 23. Look at this video of him competing and winning at Umang 2020 (organised for college campuses exclusively). He attended Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce, part of NMIMS (Narsee Monjee), displayed by his name in the video. This is from 2020 and it checks out with what he said about being in college when he started auditioning for roles in movies and singing competitions. He said he was clueless whether to pursue postgrad or pursue job placements being in his final year around 20-2021. Going by the 3 year undergrad in India, at the most he's 23 or 24. Phewww so much jasoosi I had to do to prove it. Not everything you read on the internet is right, kids. He's not 28.
