I have seen 80% of the movie. It's overall a good movie.

It doesn't give a touch of an India movie. You don't get this feeling that you are watching an Indian movie. Its like you are watching a Hollywood movie that is made using Indian actors.

It's okay, it's about Anglo- Indian community. But the thrust is on making each character having a body language and lifestyle of white people...

Every character in the movie has tried to give their best. The characters clearly seem to have worked hard for the movie.

Agastya and Vidang look hero-material. Mihir is vey good at acting and has nice facial expressions. The boy is specs too has a lot of spark. He has an impressive body language and the way he talks.

Suhana and Khushi too worked hard and overall fine in acting. DOT girl is better in acting aand more versatile as an actor than Khushi and Suhana..

Tara Sharma and Delnaaz Irani are a surprise package.

Such a movie can help Indian actors to get a role in a Hollywood flick...

Outsider young actors acted well.....

Yeah.. I kind of noticed that .

I've no problem with her being criticized. I've done that myself in my original post. Afterall , she just debuted. If she's not criticized at this stage , how will she take notes and improve herself?

But it's painstakingly obvious some people hate her because she is SRK's daughter. They are too fast and too eager to cancel her at first chance. She would only improve from here onwards. She has miles to go. Nation's crush Alia Bhatt was cringe at best in her debut movie. Bit she didn't get this level of bashing . Depression mein dal do bash kar kar ke..

She gets chances because of her daddy. But at the end she will have to prove herself with her dedication to her craft and how much effort she puts in herself and prove her mettle. Nobody gets a pass from that, no matter who is your father.

Ranbir Kapoor got many many roles even after delivering flop after flop because of his background, no doubt. But once in a while he'd have to prove himself and validate his stardom with delivering ATBBs and performing like the juggernaut he is .

While Abhishek Bachhan's career died down and his father couldn't do anything.

Same for Alia . Same for everyone.

Suhana's performance should be assessed like just everyone else. No need to hype her because of her father. No need to bash her because of her father .

I think with right styling, hairstyle and posture , she could be beautiful. She needs to find out for herself. Hope her parents allow her that freedom that is necessary for growth.

People are saying that they are bashing her for her performance and nothing else.......like some are literally butchering her.....and that for bad acting??? What has she done so bad to deserve so much hatred?? Act bad in her debut movie.....that is it.....

I can understand if people bash an actor who has done something evil in real life or made statements which were a problem....but that is not the case for Suhana......I don't see any problematic statements or anything....atleast up till now....

And if someone tells me that they are bashing her this bad just for acting in a movie.....then Bhagwaan aapka bhala kare bhai......aur kya bol sakte hain?? Otherwise how do u even bring so much hatred for someone who literally hasn't done anything........like they want me to believe that Suhana is not getting bashed because she is SRK's daughter....

Contrary to popular belief, I don't think launching Suhana in this movie was such a bad idea. The bashing she's getting, she'd get it no matter where and how she'd have debuted anyway. Here atleast they're introducing her in an ensemble cast of other kids so probably there's less heat on her.

It's more of a subtle debut.

the movie doesn't work because the Archies doesn't work in India. the fault is Zoya akhtar, why not make something like ishq vishq,make the same movie but name it something else, why put the burden of such well known characters on such non actors. such. waste of money

Also want to mention in some scenes they made Khushi wear flats and Suhana wear heels. They also made Agastya seem taller than Vedang. so insecure they are yaar Looks like Suhana is surely following her dads footsteps by wearing heels

Ishq vishq is so dated,where the guy gets attracted to the 'hot' one but then "truly" falls for the pristine one.In this at least they showed the 2 girls ditching Archie and not their friendship.

Their friendship got some sweet moments,like when Ronnie all alone at christmas goes to Betty's house and Betty just knows something is wrong by looking at Ronnie and gives her such a comforting hug.

But yes idk how popular archies is in india(I have never read it) if it's not popular idk why they didn't do their research and chose these comics anyway
