Hi Anu, trust that you are well. Thanks for the pm and update.

Chapter 5

Wonderful update… brilliantly written

well Meera and Adi spoke regarding Geet

of cos she does not want Dev to know what she is doing

Dev and Annie’s views on Maan and Geet were reasonable

cannot blame them

after all they have witnessed Geet’s humiliation and pain

Meera’s curiosity regarding Geet’s past was anticipated

so Adi could not get the details of Geet’s past

they feel Geet has moved on

they are oblivious to the fact that Geet still loves Maan immensely despite what he did to her

Geet’s love is pure and selfless.

Dev was certainly upset that Meera is going to London

great that Meera handled the situation in her way

glad that Maan went with dadima for her check up

ha ha she is so dramatic

at least Maan has his dadima with him

dadima was indeed amazed seeing the changes in Maan

nice that Maan has made his family priority

Gosh Advay was hurt

liked Maan’s concern for Advay

he thinks that Jenny is Advay’s mom

not surprised that Maan decided to stay at the hospital

as expected Geet was tensed and worried

feeling for Geet

she should not be angry at herself

nice that Jenny assured Geet

but Maan was adamant in staying despite Jenny's assurance

Maan is clearly drawn to Advay and is affected seeing him in pain

its natural cos Advay is his son

he is unaware of this fact

Jenny's thoughts were understandable

Thank God Advay is fine

oh Advay was happy seeing Maan

loved that Maan got Advay ice cream

Maan's dilemma was understandable

aww Advay thanked Maan

ahh Jenny stopped Advay from revealing anything further

finally Geet arrived at the hospital

hmm Maan thought it cannot be Geet noting her dressing

angry how Maan treated Geet

hate him for this

she just loved him and silently accepted everything

nothing can justify his behavior

why did he believe that she tricked him into this marriage?

upset that she had to bear the brunt of his anger

hearing that Geet has a family emergency, Meera assumes Geet has moved on

Meera's question was justified

good that Maan answered

pleased with Maan's response

however he knows Geet has not moved on

appreciate that Maan wants to Geet to punish him for his sins

wonderful that he wants to fill Geet's life with happiness

he is aware that he has hurt her so much

he is now repenting

he has to replace each pain with happiness

sad that Geet blames herself for not taking care of her son

admire that she wants to go Advay everything

she is an amazing mom

dismayed she feels that she is not capable

her fears were understandable

when has Maan shown her differently

thanks for the note

Aww loved it.. loving this story. Felt very emotional.. Meera braves herself to ask the important question to Maan. What would he do if he sees her, or that she’s moved on?! He is clear on what he wants, punishment for breaking her innocent heart, & a chance to replace all the pain he gave her with happiness.. even if she has moved on, his love on her is so deep that he is ok with it, as long as she is happy. That itself will be his punishment.
Advay gets into an accident! Maan again runs into him. He feels very strongly for this boy! Got desperate also to see him once, surprising himself..

Maan gets a glimpse of poshly dressed Geet, and cannot believe his eyes! But he is in denial immediately coz Geet could never dress like that. I feel he’s getting closer to the truth! The past that he recollected was very painful as always. He used her and then kept insulting her for her love for him. My god I can’t wait to read the rest, pls consider giving updates of these stories also in between…

Amazing update

Adi & Meera meet & discuss abt Geet. She has a family & Meera thinks she has moved on Meera also doesn’t want Dev to know abt this Meera braves herself to ask maan abt if Geet has moved on what will he do. Maan tells that he wouldn’t mind & wl always pray for Geet s happiness. But maan tells that she might not move on.

Advay is hurt & is taken to hospital and maan sees him & feeling very concerned. He stays in the hospital but Jenny tells him to leave. But maan stays Advay is out of danger & maan is relieved when maan is going. He sees a lady running inside with hazel eyes. & for a moment he thinks might b Geet but than he realises that Geet use to wear only Indian wear. But he doesn’t know that she is Geet only

Feel for Geet cause she is under estimating herself

Hope everything clears out.

This is a very good story

Nice update. Meera is thinking that Geet is moved on in her life. Maan is repenting of his doings. Geet suffered alot. Why Maan behaved with Geet that way..?

[Sorry for the late, have been very occupied so commenting at once]

Ok, so from where do I start? smiley36 Last few chapters has been quite hell of an emotional ride.

First of all what a brilliant carving of the story so far. This story is quite heart wrenching at the same time I know there are so many women who goes through a similar situation. Just the difference is that this is fiction and we in the end may see the best outcome/version of such scenarios. But really each chapter strikes the heart's cord with Maan's insufferable disposition & Geet's vulnerability. One may see Geet as the obedient naive(borderline foolish to some extent) girl in love but being in that position with a man whom you have loved your entire life, the realization itself comes very late depending upon how one's personality is. Geet is rather resilient in that she has endured until she knew this illness is spreading to the nucleus. It's easy to judge each side(Maan - Geet) but I will trust the words that you mentioned. Yes, it won't exonerate him of his cruelty but at least hope would give a layer to his side.

While Meera might play the role of a mediator but Dev's views are perfectly understandable. Maan has already shown immense care for the boy who he met only once, so I can only imagine how he will react when he learns Advhay is his own son.

Feeling for Geet that somewhere deep inside feels Advhay deserves the best which perhaps his father might have granted. Though this introspection gave me a mixed feeling but from a mother's perspective she obviously wants the best for her son. And being a single mother not only wealth but there are so many other aspects that are involved(which a father's role can fulfil), so kudos to Geet.

I wish I could tell her, it's not easy, but you are doing awesome. smiley31

As for the past.... Hmmm.... The abuse camouflaged under the marital bond made me question Maan's mental sanity level. It's so appalling that I want to ghuso in the FF and scream at him. smiley36 Well, that's how intense it is and that's how you nailed the emotions in these disturbing events.

Lovely going Anu. smiley31

Anticipating the next chapters as the story moves forward. I am very curious about how Geet is going to react when all the main characters face each other.
