Yes, I agree. I absolutely adored him in Alif. He chooses great projects so I do have hopes for this one. I just hoped for a different heroine but Ayeza is okay I guess!

Wahaj did trash script before TB too,Yumna was a surprise,about AAA, he hardly does dramas and only does it when he finds the script good.I just cant even think he will ever take something like TB,that would be a huge downgrade
Can I ask where is this perception of AAA having impeccable script choice coming from? Maybe he hasn't done absolutely horrible dramas (dusri biwi was dreck tho but fahad was main hero) doesn't mean they've all been great scripts.His good-bad ratio is above average but not very unusual. Other than Parizad, his better scripts while soild are hardly Citizen Kane.

If you see the Thai version of yeh Raha Dil or even the original Korean version then the pak version is pretty bad and yumna's character was ott compared to her Thai or Korean counterparts.
Ahmed also did a drama with sajal and FQ. I haven't watched it so don't know how it is.
