India have done well to get to 160 on a slow tacky pitch. 45 off the last four overs and 26 off the last two. Shreyas Iyer held the innings and then opened out at the end. Earlier Jaiswal looked threatening but fell to a short of length delivery trying to pull and then a steady flow of wickets followed. Failures for SKY and Rinku put India in a spot of bother but Jitesh and Shreyas strung a stand before Axar came out and played a superb knock. Shreyas was not hitting sixers for fun against the spinners but chose the right ball to go after. The Aussies realised the pitch was slow and went with a lot of cutters. We have seen in the series that Australia have struggled against spin. Should be an interesting chase. Back for it in 5 minutes...

Tanveer Sangha: It's had a bit of tackiness in it and if you hit your lengths, it's tough to get it off the square. Good pitch for spinners. The main thing for any wrist spinner is consistency. Every spinner if he can control his length can be very successful in India. [Drift] That's massive, especially to left-handers. The more I can get outside the hitting line, it's harder for them, especially on such pitches. There is more risk for them. Bringing out their hitting lines was one of the talking points. Was trying to hit the stumps to the righties.

Only two T20Is have been won by the team batting first in seven completed matches in Bengaluru before today; both by India, who defended 146/7 against Bangladesh at the T20 WC 2016 and 202/6 against England in 2017.
