Forum Vasiyo ki jal ke sulag chuki hai Animal ka weekend business dekh ke. Especially Ranveer Singh fans ki. They have gone into hiding. Ranbir Kapoor is now in different league after Animal. Can't be compared with the likes of Ranveer, Varun etc.

Animal - 3/5

This seemed like different movies in the two halves.

The first half is great if you are a masala movie lover with some really interesting and well acted scenes , complementing it was a terrific action sequence to sign it off in the last 20 minutes.

The other half is where Vanga's lunacy starts. I firmly believe he wrote the major portion here just to p!ss the people off who have been critical of his past movies because in no way most of the scenes were needed when you look at the bigger picture.

Ranbir delivered a good performance and his act was probably the only saving grace in a dragged out second half. Rashmika, Anil and others were okay. Bobby was wasted and Tripti was only there to have steamy scenes with Ranbir.

The runtime as expected is what dragged the movie down as a paper thin plot like this shouldn't have been more than 150 minutes long at max but still it's a decent one time watch.
